Where Can I Take a Sleigh Ride in the Cleveland Atea
Horse-drawn carriage and sleigh rides are a wonderful way to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends. This year why not take a carriage ride through Downtown Cambridge and see all the holiday lights. Or enjoy a sleigh ride through the countryside followed by a hot maple coffee and pastries at Ma and Pa's in Burton.
The following is a list of upcoming carriage, buggy and sleigh rides.
HORSE-DRAWN SLEIGH RIDES IN SPIEGEL GROVE
Dates: December 26-27, 29, 31 and January 2, 2021
Time: 1pm-4pm
Location: Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museum – Speigel Grove
Fremont, OH

Ride through the grounds of Spiegel Grove in a horse-drawn sleigh, as President Hayes did when he lived here. Rides are by South Creek Clydesdales. Riders must wear a face-covering. Four people can fit in the sleigh.
Horse-drawn trolley rides are canceled due to recommendations from the Sandusky County Health Department. Rides will take place whether or not there is snow. In the event of negative wind chills or thunderstorms, rides could be canceled. Updates will be posted at rbhayes.org. Cost for the sleigh is $5.50 per person ages 3 and older and free for ages 2 and younger. Advance tickets will be sold online here and in person at the museum front desk pending availability. The museum and Hayes Home will also be open on these days. For information and tickets, visit rbhayes.org. If the rides are canceled due to weather, refunds will be given. Otherwise, there are no refunds.

Carriage rides will be offered during our season, located west side of the Guernsey County Courthouse. Friday and Saturdays 5:30-9 pm. Weather dependent. Please call the Welcome Center 740.421.4956. You may purchase tickets at the site or at the Welcome Center. Cost are $10 per adult $8 per child (12 and under, toddlers 3 and under no charge) $34 Family (2 adults 2 children).
